MS Floorcoat is a very strong, durable and wear-resistant 2-component epoxy floor coating for the coating of new and slightly worn concrete floors; this synthetic floor has an excellent mechanical strength and chemical resistance against ammonia, acids and the most common chemicals within the livestock sector.

MS Floorcoat floor coating has many applications in the (intensive) livestock industry and farming, such as slatted floors, closed floors, underneath feed and drinking troughs, technical rooms, tank rooms, feed rooms, hygiene sluices, egg rooms, garage floors, workshops and office spaces.

MS Floorcoat is available in different packaging quantities.

Epoxy coatings is delivered as 2 separate components: A en B. The components should always be mixed in a fixed ratio.

Packaging: Two components

• Application material: bucket/mortar bowl, paint mixer, paint roller, trowel, brush, prick roller
• Substrate: treated floor with MS Primecoat trans, MS Floorequalcoat trans or MS Floorcoat

• Tape off the area to be coated so that no unwanted surfaces are touched.
• Treat the floor to be coated with MS Primecoat-trans primer or MS Floorequalcoat-trans and let it dry and cure.
• Mix the different components of MS Floorcoat in a bucket or tub into a homogeneous mixture using a paint mixer.
• Use a low speed to minimize the mixing of air.
• Spread the coating over the floor with a trowel or roll out the coating using a paint roller until a smooth and level surface is created.
• Optional: sprinkle the non-slip material on the coating floor that is still wet and let the floor dry
• If it is the top layer: allow to harden for at least 24 hours for optimal hardness and adhesion.
• If it is an intermediate layer: successive layers must be applied within 24 hours so that the layers can chemically merge with each other
• Wipe the loose anti-slip material with a hard broom from the floor before applying the next layer of coating.
• The anti-slip material used should always be coated with a top coat.
