MS Primecoat-Trans is a primer based on 2 components of Epoxy; the primer is applied on a pre-treated substrate and is necessary to optimise the coating adhesion, quality and lifetime.

MS Primecoat-Trans primer is made of an A and B component and should always be mixed in a fixed ratio.

MS Primecoat Trans is available in different pack sizes.

• Applying a primer is necessary to optimise the adhesion, quality and service life of the coating.
• Drying time: 16 -24 hours, depending on the ambient temperature
• Application temperature: between 10 °C and 25 °C
• Processing time after mixing: up to max. 25 minutes, depending on the ambient temperature
• Primacoat-Transa can also be used as a finishing layer for floors and grids

• Application material: bucket/mortar bucket, paint mixer, paint roller, brush, prick roller
• Substrate: pressure/tensile concrete, cement deck, walls; the substrate must have an absorbing effect (pores) for optimal adhesion.

• Clean the surface that needs to be coated so that all dirt and grease is removed.
• Remove dust from the surface using a broom or vacuum cleaner
• Make sure the substrate is cork dry before applying the primer.
• If necessary, sand the surface to be coated to create an even surface.
• Tape off the area to be coated so that no unwanted surfaces are touched.
• Mix the different components into a homogeneous mixture using a paint mixer.
• Use a low speed to minimize the mixing of air.
• Pour or roll the mixture over the floor or spread it on the wall using a brush
• Spread the coating over the floor with a paint roller until a smooth and level surface is obtained.
• If necessary, roll with a pinch roller to remove air bubbles from the applied layer.
• Allow it to harden for at least 24 hours for optimal hardness and adhesion
• If necessary, apply an additional coating layer
